Throughout my sketching process I settled on a logo style that incorporated rounded shapes that included swooping tail-like strokes to accompany the cat imagery. After manipulating the type in Illustrator, I took the assets into Photoshop to plug into the mockups.
With the color palette and type choice in mind, I aimed for the brand to be perceived as peppy, cheerful, and friendly. The neutral browns paired with the pop of pink (and the fact that patrons get to enjoy cats with their coffee) separates Cat Beans from a typical cafe brand.
